Pan-Seared Salmon

  • Frying pan
  • 1 lbs Thomet & Co Sockeye Salmon Filet
  • Olive Oil
  • Paprika
  • Salt
  • Dill Weed
  • Black Pepper
  1. Slice Fillet into desired portion sizes

  2. Cover the bottom of the pan in a thin layer of Olive Oil and heat on medium-high until hot.

  3. Cover filets as desired with spices.

  4. Once Oil is hot, place the salmon skin-side down and cover the pan with either a lid or aluminium foil.

  5. Cook the salmon for approx 5-6 minutes or until the middle of the fillet is barely still raw.

  6. Once almost cooked through, flip the salmon over and continue to sear for another 2-3 minutes or until the top side of the salmon is slightly blackened.

  7. Turn off heat and let the salmon sit for a few minutes to allow it to continue cooking.

  8. Serve up your favorite sides and enjoy!
